Patient Notice

We would like to stress that unless you have an appointment, you should not be walking into the Practice.

If you are invited down to the practice, it is imperatice for you to wear a face covering of some kind and adhere to social distancing rules.

Please do not be complacent or relaxed about COVID-19, it is still very much around.

Out staff here at Irwell Medical Practice are working incredibly hard to protect our patients and we would appreciate the same in return. Thank you to the many of you who already do this.

Advice for Parents During Coronavirus

Dear Patients

Please note that face masks are now compulsory in various public settings.

Our Practice will not provide any letter of support for exemption. If you feel that you are exempt from weating a mask you must self-declare.

Please also be reminded that face masks/coverings must be worn when visiting the surgery for ANY reason. This is to protect you and our staff.

Covid-19 privacy policy

UPDATE:

Anyone calling with NEW symptoms of: Acute Respiratory Symptoms, Fever, Cough, SOB will be offered a telephone appointment with either the Duty Doctor or Advanced Nurse Practitioner, if you are asked to attend surgery then you MUST wear a face covering, this can be a scarf or a face mask as a precautionary measure against Cornoavirus.
